Playing around this morning with old royalty free vector graphics, textures and masks.
I started out with the vintage seaside restaurant graphic and build the background layers from there...
So many layers... I lost count.  I find it really hard to know when to say "finished"

first one edited in lightroom only... second i added and tweaked the poster edge filter in pse

the first thing i thought when i saw this picture kim supplied for today's challenge
was a stone sculpture... so i went with it.
i added kk_zanthe scripted and kk_abstract.
than into radlabs to get a more black/white feel
the font used is 'before the rain'

and the quote reads:
"the best artist has that thought alone which is contained within the marble shell;
the sculptor's hand can only break the spell to free the figures slumbering in the stone"

used kk chaos and kk calamity textures and a few doodle fonts to add cup and hearts

i tend to like my wallpaper showing simple reminders and colors or blends that are easy on the eyes.
for this one i blended kim's textures kk_0101 and kk_3112 for the background
and the quote font is old stamper.
